Statistics from the debt management office has shown us that underage marriage legalization is not the only problem the nation has, but our country is in a huge debt also. Nigeria owes a sum of N7.C93 trillion which is 50.91 billion in dollars, both locally and internationally.
Recently, Director-General of the Debt Management Office, Dr. Abraham Nwankwo, said Nigeria's local debt is higher than her foreign debts.
My question is this- if 18,000 was all civil servants could get as minimum wage, ASUU has refused to call off the strike because of money, federal roads are tearing apart by the day and we are still owing money in trillions, do we then take it that we are living on BORROWED MONEY?????
