Tiwa Savage of Mavin Records has disclosed that somewhere at the back of her mind, she prays that the duo of Don Jazzy and DBanj would re-unite.
Luminaries and founders of defunct Mo’Hits Records, both had gone their separate ways based on reasons which Tiwa herself admitted she could not point to. She also had this to say about the personality of Don Jazzy, that he is a "mysterious guy".
Speaking with PM News “I’ll tell you the honest truth about Don Jazzy…he really is like that. He doesn’t really open his heart easily to people. He just accepts what happens and he moves on. I mean he is the Don, so I can’t go up to him and say ‘Jazzy, what really happened. I just keep my mouth shut,” she said.
It will be recalled that the old Mo’Hits Crew had as members D’Banj, Wande Coal, Dr. SID, D’Prince and KSwitch and after the break-up, D’Banj left with his younger brother, KSwitch, to float his DKM Records label while the rest metamorphosed into what is now called Mavin Records.
So, DBanj and Don Jazzy back together...how feasible really, do you think it is?
